Good Morning Golfers!
Yesterday I played Charleston Municipal, aka The Muni, with my friend James. Due to slow play ahead of us, we met the twosome playing behind us on the tee box of #5. We asked if they wanted to join us. They did, and it turned out to be a great round, scorecard notwithstanding. Brooks is a rising senior at the Citadel, and Phil is waiting for his ring, which should arrive any day now. Congrats Phil! It was a treat to play with these guys, even if Phil's drive is 50 yards longer than mine. Brooks kept pulling off impossible greeen-side shots that drew hoots and hollers and high fives from all of us. James, of course, kept the heat on with his putter, closing the gap I built on the front nine to beat me by a few strokes. Thanks for a great game, guys--Chuck
